Teaching with Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (2006-2007) was a behind-the-scenes look at a fictional sketch-comedy TV show. Unlike 30 Rock, which also launched in 2006 on NBC, Studio 60 was a one-hour drama about the cast and crew of a fictional sketch comedy program, similar to Saturday Night Live, on a fictional television network, NBS.
I have used clips and full episodes in filmmaking and theory classes for years. I created this episode guide to help others who might be interested in teaching with Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
