Kathleen Murray is the Visiting Professor of Photojournalism and current Faculty Adviser of the Cardinal & Cream, student newspaper. Fall 2005 she graduated from Union with a BA in Sociology and minor in Photojournalism. Fall 2012 she graduated with her MFA in Photography and Printmaking from The University of Memphis. She had served as Adjunct Professor of Photography in the Art Department at Union University for prior to graduating with her graduate degree.

Murray has attended the Southwestern Photojournalism Conference in Fort Worth, Tx, annually, since 2002, where she has served on staff since 2006. She has been a member of CIP, Christians in Photojournalism, since 2006. She has worked for the North American Mission Board, Baptist Press, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as countless other clients for commercial and contracted photography work.
Murray currently resides in Jackson, but travels to her hometown near Nashville frequently to visit family and friends.
