John Klonowski has been at Union since 2013 and serves as an assistant professor of Theater. Along with his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Klonowski advises Alpha Psi Omega, the Blank Slate Improv Team, and two theater productions per year. He spent three years teaching at Bethel University and four years working at Universal Studios before joining the Union family. While at Universal Studios he spent two years playing the Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
Mr. Klonowski is married to his wife, Kristen, who teaches as an adjunct professor in the Theater department here and has two children, Kay and Aidan. He and his family have been members at First Baptist Church Mackenzie since 2010. Outside of Union, Mr. Klonowski spends his time being involved in different theater events throughout the community and coaching his kids’ basketball team.
